Mom's Perfect Day
|
|
At the playground, you get to sit down for seven consecutive minutes. The board game has all its pieces. And none of them
are sticky. When you put dinner on the table, everyone shouts, "Hurray! My favorite!" Your toddler sneaks out of
bed, just to ask you for a hug and a kiss.

Live in the Moment
- As the mother of a new baby, I was given the following advice from a mother of five: "The days are long but the years
are short." I have found this to be so true - children grow up before you know it!!
Respect the Routine - The best bit of wisdom I received from my mother when I became a mom was really quite
simple: children need ordinary Tuesdays. That is, they thrive on routine, everyday activities. Parents can become too focused
on "doing" things with their children and not take the time to experience regular, simple life together.
Put Aside Your Worries - "Worry is the rust of life!" Make a concerted
effort to avoid the rusty stuff and enjoy the ride.
