The Bicycle Coalition of Maine is comprised of bicyclists who
want to make Maine a better place to bicycle. Maine has thousands of local and visiting bicyclist who participate in biking
for recreation, transportation, and competition.
In 2000, Maine Department of Transportation contracted the
coalition teach the Bicycle Safety Education Program in schools across Maine. For more information about the Bicycle
