We're Always Working on Our
Reading & Writing!

Reading

I hope that your child's Book Treasure Box has been getting a lot of use. It is very beneficial if your child reads and rereads these books. Each time your child brings home a book, please spend some time working on it together before it goes in the box for another day.

Writing

We are all practicing writing our names. We use a capital letter first and then the rest are all lower case letters. Thanks for helping practice this at home too.

Name Search!

Be on the lookout for your child's name in the newsletter this week.  if you see your child's name on any page, let me know.  Just help your child write me a quick note, and he or she will get a prize.  if you don't find it this week you'll see it soon in an upcoming newsletter.

February 15th - Update

SmileOver the past several weeks I have included 3-5 student names in the weekly newsletter.  Thanks for helping your child send me a note when you read his or her name in the newsletter!

We would like to thank Bryan for donating a book from the Scholastic Book Fair to our classroom. It is a great book for our theme about the farm. The book title is Cock-a-doodle-doo!  Barnyard Hullabaloo.
