We'll be on TV! The children were interviewed on Tuesday afternoon
by Karin Jo Beaster. The students sat with Ms. Beaster around our igloo. They were asked questions about the igloo
and school. The program about MacDougal School should be on channel 11 by the week of March 10th. Keep your

We worked very hard to write the beginning sound for each word in this
poem. Then we attached the poem to our hats!
Abraham Lincoln lived in a log cabin. He loved to read. He was the 16th president.

Jan Brett's Book The Mitten
|
|
We listened to Jan Brett's book The Mitten. Then we sand a
song called "the Mitten". in the song we changed beginning sounds of all the animal names from the story.
Bryan was a bear, Ella was a mole, Jonas was a badger, and Josie was a rabbit.
The
mole is in the mitten. The mole
is in the mitten. Mi-mo the merry-o, The mole is in the mitten. (Tune to the "Farmer in the Dell").
